How do you feel right now?

Take a moment to see how you feel right now. Make yourself comfortable, close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Once relaxed, turn your attention to your feelings. What are you feeling right now?

If you find it difficult to put those feelings into words, refer to this wheel of emotions by psychologist Robert Plutchik.

Remember, you’re just noticing. And, in the same way, as you are not your thoughts, you’re not your feelings either, and you can notice them, accept them and let them pass by. It’s like the sky metaphor we used in the cloudbusting Pep – you can notice the clouds, but you can’t stop them from becoming what they’re becoming or going where they’re going. And there’s no need to don’t give them another thought once they drift out of sight.
