Make good decisions easier

One of the secrets of behaviour change is that it’s often easier to change the world around us than to change ourselves. So as we begin to notice the triggers for drinking, we can plan our lives to make better decisions.

At the end of each Pep, we ask four questions. These questions help you recognise situations and circumstances that trigger your urges to drink.

Each is designed to enable you to notice what is happening and collect information. And like the cloudbusting exercise, we simply want you to observe, record, and let it go while remembering to be kind to yourself.

Later, we’ll review this information to refine your plans for change.
