Now you’ve identified some inspiring motivations for change, let’s compare them against the reasons why you simply can’t carry on as you are.

You’d probably simply had enough when you first embarked on this journey. You’d had enough of the hangovers, the anxiety, the blackouts, the arguments and the self-loathing. 

Apologies, I understand concentrating on the negatives can be uncomfortable, but deciding you’ve simply had enough is a compelling motivation, mainly when weighed against the benefits of change. So use it to your advantage.
